Impromptu visit to Farmer’s Market

Nov. 18, 2023

My husband and I went home last week to Summerville, SC. After visiting my dad, we drove through downtown Summerville.

The area is growing so much and we found cool vendors at the farmer’s market.

Fruit Creations, All Natural Dip, Blue Sky Sunny Day Farm, and a sweet grass basket table caught our attention.

While the market’s season is coming to an end, I’m glad we went. When I was a kid, my parents, sister, and I would go to the Ladson Flea Market. This is definitely smaller than that one.

I can’t wait to put the spicy raspberry pepper jelly on chicken wings.

My husband and I can’t wait to use the dips with our crab legs. I’ll discuss flavors later.

I’m a big fan of sweet grass baskets. Learning the history of it in Gullah Geechee culture over the years has made me 📚📚🤓🤓. I purchased a basket to put on our bookcase. The vendor didn’t tell me her name, but I remember her face.

I didn’t highlight all the vendors we saw, but I look forward to going again next year.
