I have had a nice summer break (I work for a school district). This summer was about overcoming some fears. The running joke I have with my husband is that I asked for years to move near Charlotte, North Carolina, but I am scared to drive to and in Charlotte. We settled into a city about 40 minutes from there, and for the last four years, I’ve avoided driving to Charlotte by myself. I sweat driving to Charlotte. July 23, 2025 June 2025 was full of cuteness. Here’s how it was cute: My husband and I took a week long trip to D.C. because he had to work in the office. While he worked, I vacationed. When we lived in the Sterling/Chantilly/Centerville area, we used to love the restaurant, Chaisin’ Tails, in Sterling, Virginia.
