Military Makeover in Mooresville – Reveal Day

Oh my goodness! Last week, I posted a story about the Lifetime television show, Military Makeover with Montel ®. The story was about the Mahaley family – a dual military family.

My husband and I were allowed to go to the home reveal. Let’s just say it was so neat seeing so many organizations out there to support them. Their friends and family were there too.

I loved seeing the different camera operators and other members of production out there. Everyone in attendance had to practice being loud and showing love for the family as we welcomed them home.

Individuals at the reveal who had to practice cheering for the family. These individuals could be local businesses, family and friends of the Mahaleys, or volunteers that worked around the clock for the makeover.

I even met the co-hosts I interviewed, Art Edmonds and Jennifer Bertrand.

My husband and I met Montel Williams. It was nice meeting someone who used to be on my television screen when I was kid. He is a veteran himself and he brought up interesting points about everyday veterans.
