MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — Businesses Kia’s Kreations and Capel and Co. Productions will host an Easter Festival at War Memorial Park on April 3.
The festival is hosted respectively, by Naquiea Caesar and Patricia Capel. There will be face painting, concessions, an Easter egg hunt, pictures with the Easter Bunny (photos by Capel), hopscotch and raffles.
“The main goal for the event is to have the community to be able to come together,” Caesar said. “I know right now with COVID we have had to stay inside and holidays have been cancelled. I really want the kids to have fun and be safe.”
She said that is why the Easter Egg hunt is free, while other items cost.
As of now, until March 17 tickets are $15 for a child and each additional child is $10. After the 17th, ticket prices will go up to $20 a kid and then $15 for each additional kid.
Tickets for Easter photos will be available through Capel and Co. Productions website.
Event tickets can be purchased through Caesar and Capel via Cash App, PayPal, Venmo or Zelle.
Kia’s Kreations is a dessert business with decadent strawberries, cupcakes and more. The strawberries will be available for tasting and individually wrapped for safety.
For COVID safety, they ask you to enter the park with masks. There will be hand sanitizers and masks out there. They will constantly disinfect and wipe down, gloves will be available, face painters will have masks, concessions handled strictly by staff and blocked off. Concessions will be tacos, nachos and other assortment of snacks.
